There is nothing that is incredible about the above film. The intro is standard, the set-up is commonplace, and the acting, to be frank, leaves quite a lot to be desired. A fair classroom summary: “boooring!”
Right?
No. Wrong.

Yes, that’s right, it’s time to put your money where your media is.
It was on a day that both the host nation and France crashed unceremoniously out of the South African world cup, the former in a move that was perhaps expected, the latter which came as more of a shock, that the British government decided to spark an equal feeling of national malaise in the UK.

We were very happy with how the Serge produced ‘tease’ film on The Big Arts Give Launch turned out. It features both Ed Vaizey MP Minister for Culture and Colin Tweedy CEO of Arts and Business and is currently featuring on both the DCMS and A&B websites.
But what exactly goes into making those two little minutes of film? Well since you asked, quite a lot! Especially when you arrive at a location that is still being built (!) and your main cameraman turns up late (bad Abdi). Be they, nature, comedy, sport, nature or sport, this rich tapestry of choice goes some way to informing us all as people, and, forgive hyperbole, are the building blocks of a stable society. If, in order to achieve these pillars of all that is good and right, the idle viewer must be subjected to 3-5 minutes of communicated messages from the black heart of the corporate machine, then so be it.
